During the magic drawing ceremony that took place on Monday in Glasgow, it was revealed that the Edinburgh team, owned by Lithuanian businessman Vladimir Romanov, will face the titled Glasgow team in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
These drawing have left the possibility that both Edinburgh clubs could face off in the final, as Edinburgh's main rivals, Hibernian, will face Dundee United in the other semi-final.
Both semi-final matches will take place on April 9-10 in Glasgow, at the Hampden Park stadium.
