London strategist Andre Villas Boas insists that the team is on the right path to victories.

On Tuesday, the specialist stated that he would not forgive himself if he did not win anything with the English team. The very next day, these ambitions were shown on the field - Chelsea crushed Genk 5-0 in the Champions League.

"At the moment, we are on the right path to achieve our goals," Villas Boas said. "However, the most important will be the last three months, which will determine who will win the trophies and who will not."

The stunning victory was the biggest in the club's history in European cup competitions since 1999. Spaniard Fernando Torres scored two goals, while Raul Meireles, Branislav Ivanovic, and Salomon Kalou scored one each.

"Fernando played well, but we would like to talk about the collective, not individual performances," said the Portuguese coach. "We can choose from the best. Torres had opportunities this evening and took advantage of them, but other attackers also play well, so we are satisfied."
