San Paulo "Corinthians" director Edu Gaspar acknowledged that he is interested in the possibility of acquiring forward Carlos Tevez.
The Argentine does not hide his desire to move closer to his homeland and has conflicts with English team managers, but for some time he will have to stay in the club.
Gaspar, who recently visited Europe, admitted that Tevez could move to Brazil: "Part of my job is to know what is happening abroad, to watch free footballers. I cannot deny that Tevez interests us.
I have a great friend who works at "Man City" team - Patrick Vieira. I ask questions, I want to know the situation."
"Corinthians" hope to complete the deal by mid-December so they can register Tevez for the new season in Brazil.
