Stephan Lichtsteiner believes that Juventus deserved to win the matches against Bologna and Verona's Chievo.
The Turin team's defender is convinced that the only problem for his team is the lack of precision in crucial moments.
"Verona was missing a goal. We entered the field properly prepared, but Chievo also did their homework well and defended excellently," said the Swiss.
"It is difficult to find ways to the weaker teams' goal, as they usually put up a wall of 11 players."
According to the Swiss national team player, in the match against Chievo, Juventus lacked precision in the final attacking stage.
"We must take advantage of our opportunities. Often such matches are 'opened' by goals from set pieces. Juventus cannot underestimate weaker teams. Excluding the first half against Catania, we created many dangerous moments and deserved three points in the matches against Bologna and Chievo."
Juventus is at the top of the Italy Serie A table, but the team faces some tough challenges before the next international break.
"There's no point in talking about the 'Scudetto', even if we win the next three matches, because all games are very important. We must move in this direction and we can achieve impressive results. Solid defense? It's everyone's merit. The whole team defends, so opponents very rarely manage to score. Genoa has strong attackers, but we are prepared and I am completely calm."
Lichtsteiner did not avoid the question about Juventus' captain, Alessandro Del Piero, for whom this season will be the last.
"I've only known him for four months, but I can already say that Del Piero is a true champion and a very pleasant guy who deserves a lot of respect for his amazing career," said Lichtsteiner.
