It became clear that Turin's safety Pavel Nedved will not be able to help his team in the UEFA Champions League round-of-16 second leg match against Madrid. The Czech national team footballer suffered a severe concussion in the first leg against the "royal" club and has not fully recovered yet.
P. Nedved collided with the opponent's defender Raul Bravo towards the end of the first half. Immediately after that, he was substituted and taken to the hospital, where he stayed until Monday. Now he will rest at home for at least a week, and on March 8th, repeat examinations will be done to determine how much longer the Czech player will be unable to play.
Due to this injury, P. Nedved will also miss the important weekend Serie A matches. Meanwhile, the second leg of the Champions League match will take place on March 9th.
