An impressive victory was achieved by the "Arsenal" club, defeating "Chelsea" 5-3 away in a London derby for the first time since February. The unstoppable Robin van Persie led the guests to victory by scoring three goals. Interestingly, in the last 27 "Premier League" matches, the Dutch national team striker has defeated opponents' goalkeepers 28 times.
Meanwhile, the "Man City" team strengthened their leadership position by defeating "Wolverhampton" 3-1, although the game ended with defender Vincent Kompany being sent off the field.
In the first match, "Man Utd" narrowly defeated Liverpool's "Everton" 1-0 and bounced back from last week's humiliation against "Man City." Javier Hernandez scored the only goal in the 19th minute after a pass from Patrice Evra.
The Manchester team started the match successfully and deservedly took the lead, but then the hosts equalized the game and had opportunities to restore balance. Leighton Baines came closest to scoring, but his penalty kick hit the crossbar.
