Robin van Persie didn't hide his anger after being accused of imitating Nazi Germany's gestures.

The forward was in the spotlight for joyfully scoring a goal in the London derby. The Dutch national team player placed his hand on his shoulder and then raised it up, to some creating an allusion to the traditional greeting of the National Socialist Party.

"I noticed some absurd accusations towards me," Van Persie wrote on Twitter. "It's silly to think that my action meant anything more than an expression of joy. I feel offended by such accusations, as I had nothing of the sort in mind."

In that match, he scored a total of three goals and helped the team celebrate a victory with a score of 5-3.
