Former attacker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, in his debut season as the coach of the "Molde" team, won the title of Norwegian champions.
Solskjaer took over as head coach in January and with this victory entered the history of the hundred-year-old club, which triumphed for the first time in the country's championship. Before that, he worked with the reserve team of "Man Utd" for several years.
"This is a great start to the coach's career," he said.
Two rounds of the competition are left, but "Molde" (55 points) is already out of reach for both "Tromso" (47 points) and "Rosenborg" (46 points) teams.
Lithuanian national team striker Tadas Labukas also plays in Norway, with his "Brann" team currently in fourth place. The Lithuanian played 9 matches, but only started one in the starting lineup, and did not score any goals.
"Molde" fans are celebrating the victory in the national championship.
