Antonio Cassano will undergo a minor heart operation in the near future.
The Italian fell ill after the "Serie A" match against "Roma" on Saturday, where he appeared on the field in the second half. While driving home, the footballer felt unwell, lost coordination of movements, and had difficulty speaking.
Cassano spent several days in the hospital, but the club did not provide additional information about his health condition. Eventually, it was revealed that he will have to undergo a procedure due to impaired blood flow to the brain, but more serious consequences were avoided.
Adriano Galliani, the vice president of "Milan," stated: "We can guess that after four, five, or six months, Cassano will be able to return to the field. There is a minor heart problem that caused discomfort, so surgery will be needed."
