Youth trainers will gain experience from an experienced German © EuroFootball.com

On November 3rd, Thursday, the famous German youth football specialist Thomas Nörenbergas arrives in Lithuania.

The 49-year-old German started his football coaching career in 2000. Until 2008, he coached various youth teams of different ages in the Lower Saxony Football Federation and worked as an assistant coach at VfB "Stuttgart" club.

In the autumn of 2008, T. Nörenbergas was appointed as Horst Hrubesch's assistant for the German U-19 and U-21 youth national teams. With both teams, the football specialist won the European Championships gold in almost 11 months.

As a guest at the National Football Academy (NFA), he will share his experience with Lithuanian youth football coaches on how young footballers are trained in Germany and how teams of different ages are formed, including selections for football academies. T. Nörenberg will be ready to answer questions from coaches and participate in an open discussion.

The Lithuanian Football Federation does not rule out the possibility of utilizing T. Nörenberg's experience and knowledge more frequently in the future.

All football academy, school, and club managers and coaches are invited to the meeting, which will take place on November 3rd, Thursday at 1 p.m. in the NFA conference room.
