Team player David Prutton has been handed a 10-match suspension by the English Football Association for attacking referee Alan Wiley during Sunday's Premier League match against London.

The player played roughly against Robert Pires in the first half and was sent off the field. He then started arguing with fourth official Paul Norman. When A. Wiley intervened in the conflict, D. Prutton pushed him strongly. The English security was only held back by his team's coach Harry Redknapp. D.Prutton also threatened the referee.

In addition to the 10-match suspension, D. Prutton has also been fined £8750.
