In the "Premier League" of England, seven matches were played on Saturday.

"Man City" club continues to prevent opponents from getting closer, winning a hard-fought 3-2 victory against "Queens Park Rangers" away and achieving their 10th win out of 11 possible.

Jay Bothroyd gave QPR the lead early on, but Edin Dzeko equalized just before halftime.

In the second half, David Silva put "Man City" ahead, but that wasn't enough - Heidar Helguson directed the ball into the net after Bothroyd's shot.

However, Yaya Toure scored the winning goal with 16 minutes left, allowing the Manchester team to maintain a 5-point lead over their opponents.

Defending champions "Man Utd" secured a hard-fought victory, defeating "Sunderland" 1-0 at home.

Prior to the match, Manchester team manager Sir Alex Ferguson was honored, celebrating his impressive 25 years of work at the club.

His players awarded three points, but the game did not captivate fans. The only goal was scored by "Sunderland" defender Wes Brown into his own net.

In similar circumstances, London's "Chelsea" also celebrated a victory, winning 1-0 against "Blackburn" away.

The victory was secured by Frank Lampard's sixth goal of the season, scored in the 51st minute.

Meanwhile, fans of the struggling "Blackburn" team organized an unusual action - they hired a plane that flew over the stadium with a banner urging coach Steve Kean to resign.

Yakubu, Grant Hanley, and Gael Givet could have made the manager's life easier, but they missed great chances and allowed "Chelsea" to take the victory.

"Newcastle" continues to demonstrate impressive results, defeating Liverpool's "Everton" 2-1 at home. The first goal came in the 12th minute when Everton defender Johnny Heitinga redirected the ball into his own net after Danny Simpson's pass from the edge.

Shortly after, Ryan Taylor doubled the lead with an impressive long-range shot, but the visitors' hopes were revived just before halftime when Jack Rodwell softened the score with a header.

However, in the second half, "Newcastle" did not make mistakes and maintained the winning result. Alan Pardew's team last stumbled back in May, and now they have not been defeated in 14 consecutive matches.

However, they face three big challenges ahead - matches against "Man City," "Man Utd," and London's "Chelsea."

With seven wins in 11 matches and no losses, the "Magpies" are in third place.
