Three matches were played in the English Championship on Sunday.

The London club "Tottenham" secured their seventh victory in eight matches by defeating "Fulham" 3-1 in an away derby.

It is important to note that "Tottenham" coach Harry Redknapp could not lead the team as he is recovering from heart surgery. He may need to rest for up to five weeks.

The first goal came in the 10th minute, when Gareth Bale's shot deflected off Chris Baird and found the net, and just before halftime, Aaron Lennon doubled the lead.

In the second half, Ledley King accidentally hit Younes Kaboul's head, and the ball bounced into the visitors' goal, but "Fulham" could not equalize despite the pressure.

Furthermore, in added time, Jermain Defoe secured the victory with a third goal.

The losing streak of eight matches in a row was broken by the "Wolverhampton" team, who defeated the last-placed "Wigan" club 3-1 at home.

In the 31st minute, the hosts took the lead after a precise shot from Jamie O'Hara, but Ben Watson equalized before half-time. He missed a penalty from 11 meters, but quickly followed up on the rebound.

However, in the second half, David Edwards and Stephen Ward secured the victory for the "Wolves," lifting them to 13th place with 11 points. Meanwhile, "Wigan" remains at the bottom with 5 points.
