Carlos Tevez's antics continue - the Argentine did not show up for Wednesday's training. It turned out he returned to his homeland without permission.
The club confirmed that the footballer was supposed to participate in training, so they have already contacted lawyers about possible sanctions.
BBC adds that Tevez asked for permission to travel to Argentina, but it was not granted. Nevertheless, photos appeared in the media showing the striker in a South American country. This was not denied by his representative Paul McCarthy: "Carlos went to meet his family. He understands well that he needs to work and regain his proper fitness."
Currently, many "Man City" players are away on international duty, and Tevez has been given an individual training program.
In late September, the Argentine was involved in a scandal when he allegedly refused to enter the field after a substitution in a Champions League match against Bayern Munich. As a result, he lost two weeks' salary and practically no longer plays by the coach's decision.
