Controversial striker Mario Balotelli claims he is not "crazy" - he just "entertains" people.

At just 21 years old, the footballer has managed to find himself in more than a few bizarre situations: he has [link="http://www.eurofootball.com/index.php?page=news&id=23546"]thrown darts at a youth team player[/link], [link="http://eurofootball.com/index.php?page=news&id=24432"]been substituted for a failed shot heel over an empty goal[/link], set his house on fire by shooting fireworks inside, [link="http://eurofootball.com/index.php?page=news&id=23197"]amused the world by not being able to put on a training vest[/link>.

Commenting on his adventures, Balotelli stated: "I'm not crazy, like some people say. I just sometimes entertain others. But I'm always ready to take responsibility."

And he added: "People are more likely to talk about my private life than my game."

Balotelli also claimed to have greatly improved in England, where he arrived in the summer of 2010: "Here I learned how to press opponents and tackle the opponent when he takes the ball from me. I definitely don't miss the Italian championship, its level is low. In England, football is beautiful, wonderful, and worth enjoying."

He hopes to establish himself in the Italian national team, which he has represented five times, but has not scored any goals: "I need to wake up and start playing. Scoring goals is the most important thing. Wins are also important, but goals should not be forgotten. I know I can be at the top. If I'm good, it doesn't mean that I just got lucky."
