In Poland, a new design of the national team's jersey, which will be used in the final stage of the 2012 European Championship, caused a storm of discussions.

In the product presented by the company "Nike", known for its lightness and highest quality, the country's coat of arms - the white eagle - was not included. This decision was made by the federation leaders.

They explain that this decision was made due to commercial rights: "The white eagle is a national symbol, it cannot be subject to copyright claims. Therefore, instead of it, the federation emblem is used on the jerseys, which only we and the football players can use."

It is added that both fans and journalists supported this decision in surveys.

It should be noted that the next year's European Championships will take place in Poland and Ukraine.
