Referee H.Dallas, after consulting with assistant referee Andy Davis, decided that there was a foul and awarded a penalty.
Immediately after that, the "Hearts" foreign legionnaire from Lithuania attacked the assistant referee and was sent off the field. On March 15, he will face a disciplinary committee hearing where the Lithuanian could receive serious penalties.
"Today, the football club "Hearts" requested the president of the Scottish Football Association to thoroughly investigate the issue of the chaotic end to the match with "Rangers" on Wednesday," - the club statement said. However, club representatives deny that they will request a rematch.
