One of the world's most famous footballers David Beckham helped the Los Angeles "Galaxy" club win the MLS Cup.

In front of 30 thousand spectators in the final match, the California team defeated the Houston "Dynamo" by a minimal score of 1-0. Landon Donovan scored the winning goal after a combination of David Beckham, Robbie Keane, and himself.

Interestingly, 36-year-old Beckham's contract with "Galaxy" will expire next month, making him a free agent.

"I am not in a rush to decide what to do next," said the Englishman. "Regardless, I have spent wonderful five years here."

Los Angeles fans celebrating the first title since 2005 chanted "We want Beckham" at the stadium. "Galaxy" officials will seek to extend the contract with the dominant footballer who is also of interest to "Paris St.Germain."
