London strategist Arsene Wenger has no plans to step down from his position for at least a few more years.
Over the weekend, an interview appeared in the newspaper "L'Equipe" where the Frenchman mentioned his intention to resign after this season.
However, in an announcement posted on the club's website, the coach speaks somewhat differently: "I will stay, that's it. I have a few more years left with this team. The sentence is short and clear.
"Of course, I can only speak for myself. The club's leaders may decide to get rid of me tomorrow morning and I won't be able to change that. But I remain dedicated and will prove it at the end of the season."
Wenger has been working since 1996 and during this time he won three English champion titles and four FA Cups, but the last time a trophy was won was back in 2005.
