The club received great news - defender Gerard Pique will be able to play in the first "El Clasico" of the season against Madrid.
The Spanish national team player received a yellow card in Tuesday's match against "Rayo Vallecano", which was already his fifth this season. As a result, he automatically received a one-match suspension, so Pique will not play on Saturday against "Levante".
Despite suspicions that Pique deliberately received the card and angering the Madrid media, an investigation was carried out which could have resulted in a longer suspension. However, after analyzing the footage and referee Miguel Angel Perez Laso's report, it was decided not to take any further sanctions.
It is worth noting that the first clash between "Real" and "Barcelona" in Madrid will take place on December 10.
