Barcelona coach Guardiola: now we're thinking about "Levante", not "El Clasico" © EuroFootball.com

The Catalan club has to play two matches in the Spanish championship before their trip to Japan: this weekend - against "Levante", and the next one - against Madrid's "Real".

And even though the clash of these two "Primera" giants is already creating a huge buzz, coach Josep Guardiola insists that the upcoming matches are the most important to him.

Today, "Barcelona" will test their strength at home against the dazzling Valencia's "Levante", who currently sits in fourth place in the league standings.

"The most important match is the one we will play soon. So, that's the game against "Levante". I just don't want to waste time talking about what we can't do, as it's too early to talk about the 'El Clasico'. After all, everything is united by one ultimate goal: to step onto the field and fight for victory," pondered the Catalan.

On the other hand, the "Barcelona" coach pointed out one advantage in his opinion: "When you are behind, there is always the ambition to try to catch up with those who are ahead. It's normal. Of course, sometimes it may not work out, but you have to try. If you don't try, then something is wrong."

And he added: "It's not surprising that we are behind such a powerful team."
