Carlos Tevez's agent confirmed that the footballer will stay in Europe and most likely move to a new club.
The Argentinian has been involved in several scandals in recent months: at first, he refused to enter the field after being substituted in a Champions League match against Bayern Munich, and a few weeks ago he left for his homeland without permission from the club.
Tevez, who is struggling with health problems, was spotted playing golf during his time off.
"Tevez is a member of Man City. The English club allowed us to speak with him, but direct contact with Manchester's team leaders has not yet been made," said AC Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani to "Gazzetta dello Sport". "We don't know what 'City' wants."
"I wouldn't want to talk too much about Carlos, as it might increase his price, and that wouldn't be good."
A few days ago, agent Kia Joorabchian insisted: "There is a possibility that Carlos will return to Brazil, but for now, he wants to continue his career in Europe. Currently, the footballer is training intensively and preparing to become a key player for a certain team."
