Carlo Tevez took another step towards acquiring - on Tuesday an agreement was reached regarding the personal terms of the Argentine's contract.
The Italian champions immediately sent an offer to the club that owns the forward, to loan him until the end of the season.
"I convinced Tevez to significantly reduce his financial demands," said AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani. "There is an agreement with the player, so I recently sent an email to the Manchester team. Our offer: a loan, with the possibility to buy the contract after the season. I hope for a positive response."
Tevez angered Manchester team officials at the beginning of autumn when he refused to step onto the field for the Champions League match against Bayern Munich. Although it seemed like the conflict was resolved, recently the player went to Argentina on his own and did not obey "Man City's" demands to return.
It is undeniable that the forward will be sold in January, when the transfer window opens.
In an interview given to the club's official television channel, Galliani also added that he wants to see Tevez in Milan from the very first day of January.
Milan's forward Antonio Cassano, who underwent heart surgery and will not be able to play for several months, did not object to such a deal. It is the Italian's place that will be taken by the Argentine football star.
