Roberto Mancini is convinced that representatives of all major European clubs wish for his team to be eliminated from the Champions League.
On Wednesday, the leaders of the English Premier League will play at home against Bayern Munich knowing that even a victory may not be enough to secure a spot in the quarterfinals.
"I think every team is worried about Man City, because already now - and certainly in the future - this club aims to become one of the best in the world," said the 47-year-old Italian. "Napoli wants us to be eliminated, Bayern as well. Like other teams, they fear us and what we can achieve."
Man City must defeat Bayern and hope that the struggling Villarreal will take points from Napoli.
"This group is truly the most difficult. However, we believe and I am very pleased with that. First, we must defeat Bayern, and then look at the outcome of the next match," he said.
