Two goals by Miroslav Klose led to a dramatic 3-2 victory for Rome's "Lazio" against "Lecce", allowing the capital team to briefly return to the second place in the tournament table.
Lithuanian Marius Stankevičius, wearing the shirt of "Lazio", played as a right-back for the entire 90 minutes.
Inter Milan rose from the bottom by defeating "Fiorentina" 2-0. The winning goals were scored by Giampaolo Pazzini and Yuto Nagatomo.
"Palermo" missed the opportunity to rise to the fifth place, unexpectedly losing 0-1 to "Cesena". This was only the third victory for this team in 14 rounds.
Adrian Mutu scored the winning goal in the 63rd minute, and "Palermo" ended the match with a man down, as Ezequiel Munoz was sent off the field after receiving two yellow cards.
