In the upcoming Champions League match against Leverkusen, the team will have to cope without one of their leaders - Australian goalkeeper Harry Kewell.
H. Kewell has still not recovered from his Achilles tendon injury. However, team manager Rafa Benitez is pleased that the team will be able to count on Jerzy Dudek and Dietmar Hamann.
"Yes, Kewell will not travel to Germany. But Didi and Jerzy are returning to the team," Benitez says.
The coach is especially happy about the return of team veteran D. Hamann: "Didi is a good player and very important to us. He is very experienced, knows what he's doing on the field, and that's very important. I will talk to him about Leverkusen because he knows the mentality of German teams very well. That's very important," he adds.
