On Sunday, four matches were played in the English Premier League.
In the central match of the round, leader "Man City" at home after a fierce battle defeated London's "Arsenal" 1-0 and did not give up the first place in the tournament table.
The only goal of the match was scored by David Silva, and the hosts' life would have been calmer if Sergio Aguero had hit the goal, and Pablo Zabaleta had not shaken the crossbar.
But what will "Arsenal" fans remember: Joe Hart had to fend off dangerous shots from Gervinho, Theo Walcott, and Aaron Ramsey.
And a few hours later, "Man City" won the last victory and surpassed the defending champions "Man Utd" club, winning 2-0 away against "Queens Park Rangers".
The guests started the match very successfully - not even a minute after Antonio Valencia's pass, Wayne Rooney put the ball into the net with his head. It was the striker's 15th goal in all competitions this season.
Michael Carrick secured the victory after a major break, taking the ball from Joey Barton and beating goalkeeper Radek Cerny after an individual run.
"Man Utd" could have won by a bigger margin, but Jonny Evans and Phil Jones hit the goal frame, while Valencia and Rooney missed the target.
