A promising footballer hunted by several European clubs will arrive in Italy after the new year, when the season in Chile ends.
22-year-old Vargas has played 51 matches and scored seventeen goals in his homeland over the past two seasons. He has also represented the Chilean national team nine times, and scored two goals in a friendly match against Spain last September.
In the Champions League round of 16, Napoli will play against Chelsea on February 21 and March 14.
