Coach Vicente Del Bosque assures that the doors to the Spanish national team are not closed for Raul.

The 34-year-old veteran, who plays for the Gelzenkirchen club, last represented his country five years ago, but this season he has once again reminded everyone of his talent by scoring ten goals in 17 matches in the German championship.

Furthermore, Del Bosque is forced to keep a closer eye on forwards, as it is unclear whether David Villa, who suffered a serious injury while representing "Barcelona," will be able to play in next year's European championship.

"My relationship with Raul is excellent," said the coach to "Marca." "He plays fantastically, and the doors are really open for him. However, there may be more problems with injuries before the tournament, such risk always exists."

The forward has played in 102 matches for the national team and has scored 44 goals.
