Pato: the coach criticizes me in the press, but says nothing to my face © EuroFootball.com

Attacker Alexandre Pato admitted that he is not satisfied with the current situation in the team.

The Brazilian, who recently received criticism from coach Massimiliano Allegri in the press, claims that he hardly communicates with the strategist. This is a complete opposite situation compared to the times with Carlo Ancelotti.

"Carlo always talked to me, told me what he wants to see on the field," Pato stated. "If I need to improve, I wait for the coach's advice.

"Allegri says something from time to time, but it has to happen constantly. I wish our relationship was more based on direct communication."

And he added: "I have to respect the coach's criticism and lower my head. However, it would be good if that happened face to face, not publicly."

This season in the Italian championship, Pato scored one goal in 8 matches.
