The famous Brazilian Ronaldinho will represent the "Flamengo" team for at least one more year.
Recently, there have been issues regarding salary payments, but club president Michel Levy reached an agreement with the company "Traffic," which has committed to covering part of Ronaldinho's salary.
"This is a Christmas gift that we give to the fans," Levy said. "We are very happy. We worked hard until we finally reached an agreement."
On Friday, the Brazilian should put his signature on a new contract, and then he will be paid the outstanding 1.2 million euros.
Lately, Ronaldinho has been linked with a move to Greece, where Athens' "Panathinaikos" showed interest in him. In 2011, the forward played a total of 44 matches and scored eighteen goals in his homeland.
