Thierry Henry is returning to the London club for two months, confirmed coach Arsene Wenger.

However, the deal will only go through if they can come to an agreement with New York Red Bulls regarding the terms of the loan. Nevertheless, there shouldn't be any problems.

"It will definitely happen," said Wenger. "For now, we cannot announce it officially because not all the documents are in order."

The 34-year-old former Arsenal captain has been representing the Red Bulls team lately, but he will briefly return to Europe during the off-season in the United States. The Frenchman will help fill the gaps left by forwards Gervinho and Marouane Chamakh, who will be away at the African Cup of Nations tournament.

Henry has played 370 matches and scored 226 goals for the London team. This year, he has managed to score 15 goals in 29 matches in the US.
