London agreed with Chelsea on the amount for which they will acquire defender Gary Cahill. It is believed to be around 7 million euros.
The player should replace Alex in the capital's team, who is no longer training with the main team.
"The agreement between the clubs has been reached, so Cahill's representatives are already negotiating the terms of the contract," said Bolton manager Owen Coyle.
In June, the defender would have become a free agent, so Bolton's team leaders agreed to sell him and receive compensation. In the Chelsea team, he should form a partnership with his compatriot John Terry.
It is said that Bolton is considering the possibility of using the money received to acquire New York Red Bulls defender Tim Ream.
