The club's priority during the winter transfer window is to sell unnecessary football players. After fulfilling this task, according to coach Roberto Mancini, perhaps there will be consideration for reinforcements.
It is almost certain that forward Carlos Tevez and defenders Wayne Bridge and Nedum Onuoha will leave the team.
"We need to sell three or four players," Mancini said. "We hope to reach an agreement for Tevez in the next few days, as well as possibly for Bridge. And then we will see what we can do.
"Carlos is being eyed by two or three Italian teams, as well as a club from France and another country. I hope he can finally play again. And we will see if we can buy anyone after selling someone."
"Man City" strategist would like to strengthen the defensive line, which will thin out due to Yaya Toure's departure for the African Cup of Nations this Saturday. One of the mentioned candidates is Italian Daniele De Rossi.
