In the FA Cup match in Liverpool, an incident occurred - black "Oldham" defender Tomas Adeyemi complained of being racially abused by spectators.
The 20-year-old footballer almost burst into tears and complained to the referee. The match against "Liverpool" was temporarily halted, and the police began an investigation. So far, there have been no arrests.
"He is a calm, educated boy with a great character," described coach Paul Dickov. "Tomas has been playing in the team since August and during this time he has not raised his voice once. Apparently, something was said to him, but we didn't talk about it. At the moment, everything is fine, he is calm."
Liverpool won the match with a score of 5-1.
