Paul Scholes is coming back - the retired footballer who ended his career in May has agreed to take the boots off the hook and help the team until the end of this season.
Within the ranks of the 'Red Devils,' the 37-year-old veteran will appear in today's match, Sunday, the FA Cup clash with "Man City."
Scholes made this decision at the request of coach Sir Alex Ferguson. "I am glad that the coach believes I can still be useful to the team," he said.
"Fantastic that Paul has decided like this. It's always sad when such great footballers end their careers, especially when they can still play," Ferguson said.
And he added: "He has maintained excellent fitness, and I always thought he was capable of playing another season. I am very happy."
Scholes should help plug the gaps in the midfield that have arisen due to a multitude of injuries. Players like Darren Fletcher, Anderson, and others cannot play due to various health problems.
The England midfielder debuted in 1994 and scored 150 goals in 676 games. He managed to win the English championship ten times and triumph once in the Champions League.
