Liverpool has acquired midfielder Darron Gibson for approximately 3 million euros, signing a half-year contract with him.
The 24-year-old footballer becomes the club's second purchase during this transfer window - earlier, a short-term contract was signed with forward Landon Donovan.
"I am looking forward to a new challenge, as I felt it was time to leave Manchester," said Gibson. "I hope to help the new team, which has amazing fans."
In 60 matches with "Man Utd," he scored ten goals, but this season he has only appeared on the pitch once.
