Fernando Torres, who is not scoring goals, asked the London coaches to allow him to organize additional goal scoring practice.

The 27-year-old footballer scored only five goals in 41 matches for the capital team, even though in January of last year he cost 58 million euros. The last time he managed to score was in a Champions League match against "Genk" in October.

Assistant coach Steve Holland said: "Fernando works hard in training to improve his shooting skills. We already pay a lot of attention to that, but Torres works extra every day.

"He does it excellently in practice - the balls fly into the net. It's just that sometimes, when you try really hard, you end up not where you need to be. We are pleased with his dedication."
