"I always understand what is happening in the stands, but I do not listen to it," - said the Portuguese. - "When the team loses, the responsibility is mine. Victory has many parents, failure - only one. The triumph in the cup final was everyone's success, but defeat is a single matter. I have been working in football long enough to understand that."
And he continued: "We were leading 1-0 and that would have been a great result, but then we conceded a goal after a set piece. It is normal that it was a blow to the footballers, and an emotional boost for the opponents, which determined the final result."
Regarding the incident with Pepe, when the defender hit Lionel Messi on the arm, Mourinho laconically stated: "I didn't see it, but if the action was deliberate, the player will be punished. I can only say that he worked hard for the team."
