Madrid's sports director Zinedine Zidane defends the coach Jose Mourinho, who has been criticized by fans, with sharp phrases.
The dissatisfaction of the capital team's fans was caused by the defeat in the first leg of the Spanish King's Cup quarterfinals to the deadly rivals of the club. "Real" lost to Catalans in front of their own fans for the second time this season.
"Attacking Mourinho or the players is the same as attacking 'Real'," said Zidane. "I don't understand those who demand the coach's resignation, as he has done a great job. He is instilling a winning mentality in the team."
He continued: "I also don't understand those who criticize the strategy chosen by Mourinho on Wednesday. I challenge those experts who know the right tactics to beat Barcelona's team."
