Didier Drogba has confirmed that he will remain at the London club at least until the end of the season.
The footballer, who has scored 98 goals in 217 English league matches, has been linked with a move to Shanghai Shenhua. It was rumored that he was offered an impressive salary of 240,000 euros per week.
However, Drogba currently has no intention of leaving Chelsea: "I want to feel joy, enthusiasm, and passion on the field. But I will not leave the team until June."
The Ivory Coast national team member will become a free agent in the first summer month, so he can already negotiate with other clubs. The London team is offering him a one-year contract, but the player wants to commit to two seasons.
