Arsene Wenger's team broke into the quarterfinals of the Football Association (FA) Cup after this victory. Despite starting the second half with a two-goal advantage, Robin van Persie and Theo Walcott's strikes after the break determined Arsenal's victory.
In the other match, the winner was not determined - Sunderland drew with Middlesbrough, so the participant of the next stage will only be decided after an additional match.
