Liverpool have agreed on the acquisition of Glasgow Rangers forward Nikica Jelavić. The deal amount can reach about 9 million euros.
Croatian was also interested in Liverpool and West Ham in London, but just before the closing of the transfer window, Everton showed the greatest interest.
Jelavić started his career with the Hajduk Split team and after five years he went to Belgium, where he wore the Zulte Waregem jersey.
Later he represented Vienna Rapid for three seasons, and in 2010 he arrived at Rangers, where he scored 36 goals in 55 matches. He also managed to score 17 goals while representing the Croatian national team.
