The goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard, who suffered a wrist injury, will be out of the lineup for four to six weeks.
This season, the 27-year-old Dane is fiercely fighting for a place in the main lineup with the young Spaniard David de Gea. He is supposed to defend the goal on Sunday when the Manchester team plays an important Premier League match against Chelsea from London.
It is worth noting that due to Lindegaard's injury and de Gea's minor illness, on Tuesday in the match against Stoke, the goalkeeping position for "Man Utd" was taken by 21-year-old Ben Amos, who didn't concede any goals.
Lindegaard started in the starting lineup in eight out of 23 English Championship matches.
