Carlos Tevez has been included in the lineup of footballers, so he can return to the field soon.
The Argentine caused a scandal last autumn when he refused to step onto the field in a match against Bayern Munich, and later ran away to his homeland without the club's permission, where he remains until now.
It was said that he would leave the team during the winter transfer window, but negotiations with potential buyers ended in failure. Now Tevez's name has appeared among the 25 players listed in the application.
"If Carlos returns and is physically ready, it is likely," said Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini when asked if Tevez would play. "At the moment, it is not a possibility, but in the future - perhaps.
"I hope he has been training for the past three months. And in my mind right now - only the English Premier League."
The last time Tevez played in an official match was in September.
