London coach Andre Villas Boas praises Fernando Torres for his contribution to the team's results.
Despite costing 58 million euros in January last year, the Spaniard scored only five goals in 44 matches and is considered one of the most disappointing footballers in the Premier League.
Nevertheless, Villas Boas did not spare good words for the Spaniard: "Fernando's contribution to the team is huge. We should evaluate it not only as a goal scorer, but also as a team player.
"Recently, we have been working on Torres' movement on the field to help him better adapt to our style of play. A goal in Sunday's match against Man Utd could be a great starting point."
The Portuguese also affirmed: "We definitely won't win the English championship, but we are still competing in three tournaments. Meanwhile, both league leaders have already been eliminated from the FA Cup and Champions League. After all, Man Utd is playing in one tournament, while we are in several. And the Champions League is a real goal."
