On Monday evening, in the late-night final matches of the 22nd round of the Spanish "Liga BBVA" championship, the ambitious "Malaga" club suffered a defeat.
Manuel Pellegrini's team lost 2-1 away to "Granada" and missed the opportunity to move up to sixth place in the tournament table.
The victory allowed the league newcomers to move up to 14th place.
