Thierry Henry will leave London on February 16 and return to the "New York Red Bulls."
It was expected that he would spend a couple more weeks in England, but the loan agreement will end a little earlier, after the Frenchman spends only a month and a half.
“It would have been great if Thierry could stay a little longer, but he needs to return. We must be fair to the New York team,” said coach Arsene Wenger.
Henry will help the team in the English championship match against "Sunderland" and in the first Champions League round of 16 clash with "Milan" on Wednesday.
“He will no longer be in the London derby against "Tottenham" on February 26. Henry is the captain of the "Red Bulls," and we were committed not to create obstacles. We keep our word,” the specialist added.
The Frenchman managed to play 5 matches and score two goals.
