Sports director Andoni Zubizarreta hopes that Pep Guardiola will continue to coach the Spanish champions next season.
The 41-year-old specialist's contract expires next summer, and negotiations are currently stuck. A similar situation occurred last year - Guardiola signed a one-year contract on February 8.
"The conditions for Pep's positive decision are definitely there," said Zubizarreta, adding that there are no possible alternative options planned.
Since 2008, under the guidance of the specialist, Barcelona has won a total of 13 trophies, including three Spanish champion titles and two Champions League trophies.
