Strategist Pep Guardiola does not intend to give up in the fight for the Spanish champions title, but admits that all the cards are in Madrid's hands.
On Saturday, the Catalans sensationally lost 2-3 to Osasuna in Pamplona, and if Real beats Levante tonight, they will already be 10 points behind the leader.
"The reality is that the difference between the teams is big and most likely will grow on Sunday," Guardiola said. "We just have to try until the end. We have no other choice but to give our all in the upcoming matches."
The specialist did not deny that these failures increase the importance of the Champions League: "We will aim to defend the European Champions Cup. We have to defend our positions in this tournament, and then think about the duel with Valencia."
In the Champions League round of 16, on Tuesday, Barcelona will play the first match against Bayer Leverkusen.
